Founded in 1993 by Ian Watson and Anne Waters, The Lakeland College
provides high-quality training in homeopathy, flower essences and
related holistic therapies. Training courses take place in Ambleside
and Central London. There are additional courses and workshops for
beginners and advanced practitioners throughout the U.K.
The Homeopathic Practitioner Training lasts for three years and takes place one weekend a month for ten months of the year. In addition to attendance at college there is a monthly tutorial group. Clinical training commences in year two.
The core teaching team is supported by an extensive network of regional and clinical tutors. Students are supported by a team (mostly graduates of the college) whose role it is to advise on cases, learning journals and give individual support at college weekends. Two active graduate circles meet regularly for continuing professional development. These graduates offer a mentoring service to students.
